ARRL Emergency Power Day The local Ares and the Central Missouri Radio Association participated in the ARRL Emergency Power day. The Day was design to engourage Amateur Radio operator to be prepared to run their station only on emeregency power. Here is a picture of WØBUX operating as net control of a local VHF emergency power net during the day.

MS 150 Communications Training Course, BCARES members can participate in a communications training course to learn net etiquette for the MS 150 Bike ride radio net. This will be a very busy radio net with over 50 operators so net etiquette will be very important. Contact Don Moore at MS 150 for more details.
Red Cross Damage Assessment Course, BCARES members can participate in a Red Cross Damage Assessment training course August 13, 2005, 1-4 pm at the the Boone County Chapter of the Red Cross. Call Julie Wieken, Boone County American Red Cross, (573) 445-9411.
