Missouri Stream Team Program
This is a very strong statewide program sponsored by MDC, DNR, and CFM.
Stream teams do various activities to promote the ecological health of
streams, whether that be picking up litter or conducting biological and
chemical monitoring. For the latter, one must go through training courses,
which are free and offered at various times of the year around the state.
Teams can consist of a single individual or a large group. Some teachers
adopt streams and have their students help. If you would like to find out
more, visit their website at www.mostreamteam.org .
