Objective: Sample the image of the southeast campus to determine the average number of cars per acre.

These tasks must be completed and explained in the report:

  1. Collect a sample of 9 one acre plots from the population. You may use random sampling with replacement or random sampling without replacenment.
  2. Calculate a mean and variance for the sample.
  3. Calculate a total number of cars for the entire 83.5 acre photograph.
  4. Create a histogram of the sample.
  5. Write a report explaining how you completed the sample and the results.
